Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James was a mixed-race child of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) and Patty James. His mother is caucasian and his father Nigerian. In 2010 James was a graduate of Sanderson High School. Then the following year, he attended Wake Forest University in order to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Science degree in Economics. James was first noticed after he became a Reality Star in The Bachelorette. James was selected in the year 2020 as the new bachelor in The Bachelor season 25, being the show's initial African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James is a great fit for the role as he is handsome well-rounded tall and has a sense of comedy. Rachael Krukconnell was his love interest at the close of the season. In the following year, 2021, he was joined with the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold were 12th in the show.
